Recently I was doing a seminar on Church Planting when a group of pastors/leaders asked me if it was possible for an existing pastor/leader to get involved in Church Planting multiplication rather than church growth? Their worries seemed appropriate - what if I get involved in starting new churches in new localities and my old church may disintegrate? How do I keep everything together? This is a serious situation for one who started off with single church in mind and now exposed to the idea of multiplication of churches.
I am amazed that very few leaders take the trouble of going beyond these questions. They miss the opportunity of discovering life's new possibilities where one can actually step out by faith into a journey of faith with God.
Great minds discuss ideas;
Average minds discuss events;
Small minds discuss people.
